Product Engineering / Program Management
Stone Plastics has a talented group of degreed engineers that will help lead your program from concept through to full implementation, including PPAP. Our product engineering team has part design, molding and program management expertise. With this extensive and wide-ranging experience, we are able to offer key assistance with part design feasibility that will ensure the part is designed for manufacturability and our customers will get repeatable and quality products. We are also able to guide the process to ensure your deliverables are achieved every step of the way.
Tooling Engineering
Our Tool Engineering team will oversee the design and build of robust molds. As journeymen mold makers, our team has the in-depth knowledge and experience to ensure you are getting the best molds to ensure repeatability and mold life. The Tooling Engineering team is with you every step of the way from quoting, to design reviews and build management.
Process Engineering
Our degreed Process Engineering team utilizes scientific molding principles to develop robust molding processes. These engineers are involved every step of the way, from tool design to a successful product launch. Additionally, our Process Engineers work alongside our manufacturing team to ensure consistent and robust processes continue to be followed in the production environment. Their skill sets include RMT, DOE and data analysis (utilizing MiniTab) and Root Cause problem solving.
Manufacturing Engineering
A cross-functional team consisting of designers, manufacturing engineers, controls engineers, machinists, and fabricators, our manufacturing engineering team has the expertise to integrate anything into the production environment from end of arm tooling for remove parts from the mold to fully automated manufacturing cells. Their experience is utilized for the design/build/management/ and integration of equipment required for new product launches, continuous improvement opportunities, and production support services.
